2023-24 Competitive Team Costs

Upon selection and acceptance on a team, the costs associated with the Winter Haven Kicks competitive program for the 2023-2024 season are as follows. 

Payment plans and other financial assistance options are available. WHYSA never wants costs to get in the way of a player wanting to play soccer!

*If a player is playing-up on an older team, the player fee will be for the team age group not the player birth year. 

The registration fee covers costs associated with Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) player fees, USA Soccer fees, Polk County player fees, referee expenses, and WHYSA Club fees (e.g. field equipment, maintenance and administrative costs).

There may be additional, team-specific fees and expenses. These fees include but are not limited to: training clinics, tournament participation, and travel costs (hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation costs). This amount will be determined by each team’s coach and/or team manager. 

Upon selection and acceptance on a team, the team coach/manager will provide you with information to purchase a uniform kit. The kit typically includes one home jersey, one away jersey, two practice shirts, one pair of shorts, and one pair of socks. Any additional apparel is at the discretion of the team coach. Kits will be ordered from Admiral-sports.com. One pre-season order will be made by the club to save on shipping costs. Coaches/managers will take orders for the pre-season order. All other orders will be by individual and incur shipping costs. 

Travel costs

The competitive program travels to play half of each team's season games. Our teams typically play other teams and travel to their fields within the FYSA Region C area (see photo below). For any travel more than 50 miles, games are typically scheduled after 10 a.m.
