2023 Competitive Tryouts

Winter Haven Kicks Competitive Soccer Tryouts 2023-2024

Winter Haven Kicks Soccer will be holding tryouts for the 2023-2024 competitive season. Tryouts will take place at Simmers-Young Park (339 American Spirit Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33880) on the following dates:

GIRLS, ALL AGES

Monday 5/1,  6:30 - 8 PM

Wednesday 5/3,  6:30 - 8 PM

BOYS, ALL AGES

Tuesday 5/2,  6:30 - 8 PM

Thursday 5/4,  6:30 - 8 PM

ALL

Sunday 5/7,  2 - 4 PM

Tuesday 5/9,  6:30 - 8 PM

The tryouts are open to all players born in the years 2005 through 2015. Players must register in advance.

Competitive soccer, sometimes referred to as travel or club soccer, is for focused, motivated players who want to advance their skills through a high volume of soccer training and games. Competitive teams travel for half of their season games and possibly for tournaments too. Travel locations and dates will be decided closer to season start by the league(s) that the team is registered with. 

The tryouts will be evaluated by Winter Haven Youth Soccer coaches and staff. Players will be invited to play on teams based on their skill level and ability.

The 2023-2024 season will begin in August. The season will run through May.
